STAFF REPORT
Plans for the replacement of curbs and gutters on the
north side of Tenth Street, from "D" Street to Arrowhead Avenue,
have been prepared by the Engineering Division and the project
is ready to be advertised for bids. The project consists of
replacing the existing curbs and gutters in order to assist in
the elimination of drainage problems.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 9,250
Engineering & Inspection (W.O.. 500
Sub-Total $ 9,750
Contingencies (5%):1: 500
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 10,250
An amount of $10,000 was approved at the Council Meeting
of 9-5-90 from CDBG funds to finance the costs incurred for this
project.

We recollUllend that the plans be approved and authoriza-
tion granted to advertise for bids. Due to the small size of
this project, we plan to include this work in the same contract
for construction of handicap ramps.
