Recommended motion:

1. That the Director of Public Works/City Engineer and the City Clerk are
authorized to proceed with the proposed vacation of a portion of Fairway
Drive at South "E" Street.
2. That Plan No. 8253 showing the proposed vacation of a portion of Fairway
Drive at South "E" Street, is approved.

STAFF REPORT
A request was received from the San Bernardino County Flood Control Department.
to vacate a portion of Fairway Drive at South "E" Street. as the petitioner is a
public agency, the normal fee of $750 has been waived.
The property in question lies Southwesterly of Fairway Drive and South "E" Street.
When Fairway Drive was re-aligned at its juncture with South "E" Street. it
created surplus right-of-way which SBCFCD would like to use.
As the City has no use for the subject property for present or future street and
highway purposes, Staff recommends that the City vacate the subject property.
