lIl1EllEAS, by llesolution No. 86-247, the Mayor and Cu.Kln Council
found that the pu~lic interest, convenience and necessity required the
foraation of a signalization construction district; and
~I~REAS. by said llesolution No. 86-247, the Mayor and Common
Council fonaed and assessment district knmm as Assessment District: No. 973
for the purpose of providing traffic signals in the area of Uni~ersity
Parl.....ay and Hallmark Parkway pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of
.
the San Bernardino Municipal Code; and
WIIEREAS, by Resolutioll No. 86-182, the Mayor and C~on Council
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district
will be benefited b)' the installation of said siana1s; and
lillEJlEAS, said Resolution No. 86-182 declared that all annual
assessment shall be levied on all land wiUlin the district to provide funding
for said traffic signals; and
WHEREAS. an AssesBMnt Roll has been preparesI totalling $9,835.61
which sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the
parcels of land within Assessment District No. 973 for the fiscal year 1990-
91;

NOW lliIOOS!'ORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. "That the Mayor and C~on Council do hereby find and
det_ine that. the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of
land within AssessllllDt District No. 973 are correctly set forth on Assessllent
Roll No. 973 for the fisc"l year 1990-91. designated as Exhibit "AM and
attached hereto, and do hereby confiI'll said assess_nts.
SECTIOK 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this
Resolution to be transaitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the
.
County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual asses_nts. be
placed on the subject 1990-91 property tax bills for collection together
with ell other property taxes.
