As required by the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code and
Resolutions No. 86-47. and 86-82, which established the District, the IlIIIIUllI
usesaent roll relative to Assesqent District No. 971 (Tri-City Fire station
Construction Distr.) has been prepared and is attached to the iesolution. .
The roll for 1990-91 totals $160,344.40 and is sumaitted to your Honorable

DISTRICT IN THE TRI-<:ITY AREA.
WIIEllEAS, by ,Resolution No. 86-82. the !layor and C~on Council
found that the public interest. convenience and necessity required the
fo~tion of a fire station construction reillbursellent distrit:t; and
W1IEllEAS. by said Resolution No. 86-82. the Mayor and C~on Council
foraed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 971 for
reimbursellent of funds for the construction of a fire station in the Tri-<:ity
."
Area pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino
Municipal Code; and
W1IEllEAS, 11)' Resolution No. 86-47, the !layor and C_n Council
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district
will be benefited by the construction of said fire station; and
WHEREAS. said Resolution No. 86-47 declared that an annual
assessment shall be levied on all land within the district to provide
reimburs_nt to the City of San Bernardino for the construction of said fire
station; and
W1IEllEAS. an Assessment Roll has been prepared totalling $160.344.40
which sets forth the individual assesslleDts to be levied on each of the
parcels of land within .~ssessmeBt District No. 971 for the fiscal year 1990-
91;

4 SECTIO/II 1. That the Mayor and C~on Council do hereby find and
5 detenline that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of
6 land within Assessaent District /110. 971 are correctly set forth on Assess.ent
7 Roll /110. 971 for the fiscal year 1990-91, desigDated as Exhibit "A" and
8 attached hereto, and do hereby confil'll said assess.ents.

10 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this
11 Resolution to be trans.itted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller ,for the
12 County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessaents. be
13 placed on the subject 1990-91 property tax bills for collection together with
14 all other property taxes.
