STAFF REPORT
The City received a request from Southern California Edison for a Grant of
Easement over City-owned property located on the North side of 7th Street, West
of Waterman Avenue.
This easement is needed by the Edison Company in order to construct and install a
new underground power facility for the City water reservoir located at the
Northwest corner of the City ball park.
As this property is located within an Underground Utility District, all work will
have to be undergrounded. The UUD dictates the larger size of the easement than
is usual for this type of work.

Edison Company. a Corporation, for transmission of electrical energy and
appurtennnt faci 1 it ies.
SECTIO!\ 2.
That sajd Grant of Easement referred to herein, a
copy Df which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A". and is her'eby referr'ed
to and made a part hereoj as iul l~ as though set out at length her'ein, is
her'eb~' approved.

A strip of land, 12 feet in width, lying within Lot 7, Block 3, Rancho San Bemardino, as per map
recorded in Book 7, page 2 of Maps, in the Office of the Recorder of said County; the centerline of
said strip being described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which is distant thereon 595 f88t Northerly of the center1ine of Seventn
Street, as now established, and 780 feet Westerty of the centerline of Waterman Avenue, as now
..tablishod; laid point being also the location of Ediaon Pole No. 1629706E; thence Eaal8rly,
parallel with said centerline of Seventh Street, a distance of 30 feet.
It is understood and agreed that the above description is approximate only, it being the intention of
