As required by the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code and
Resolutions No. 89-323 and 89-216, which established the Distric:t, the annual

WflEREAS, by Resolution No. fl9-323, the ~layor and Common Counci I

WHEREAS, hy silid Resolut ion No, fI')-323, the ~lilyor and Commun
11 Council formed an ilssessment district knowu ilS Assessment ]lislrict No. 990
12 for the purpose of providing security services, street sweeping and street
13 light maintenance/energy costs in the area of Highland aud Arden Avenues
14 pursuant to the provisiuns of Chapter" 12.90 of the San Bernilnlino City
15 Municipal Code; aud

17 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. fl9-21h, the Mayor and Common Council
18 declared that all the land included withiu the boundaries of said district
19 will be henefited by the security services, street sweeping and street light
20 mainleuauce/energy costs; and

WHEREAS, said Resolution No. r,9-322 declared that an annual
assessment shall be levied ou all land within the dish'ict to prod de funding
for said security services, street sweeping and street light maintenance/
energy costs and the administration thereof; and

WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totillling $16,247.22
which sets forth the individual assessments to he levied on each of the
parcels of land within Assessment District No. 990 for the fiscal year 1990-
91,
NOW THEREFORE liE IT RESOLVED BY THE r-1AYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF TilE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the :1ayor and Common Counei I dc, hereby find and
determine that the proportionate costs to be levied dgdinst the parcels of
land within Assessment District No. 990 are correctly set forth on Assessment
Roll No. 990 for the fiscal year 1990-91, designated as Exhibit "A" and
attached hereto. and do hereby confirm said assessments.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this
Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the
County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessments be
placed on the subject 1990-91 property tax bills for collection together
wi th all other property taxes.
