Synopsis of Previous Council action:
6-19-89 -- Resolution No. 89-214, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
found that the public interest, convenience, and necessity
required the formation of a landscaping construction and
maintence district.
5-15-89 -- Resolution No. 89-1l,3, adopted by the ~layor aud Common Council,
decldred thilt rill the land included within the boundaries of said
district will be benefited by the construction and mairrlenancf' of
said landscaping.
Recommended motion:

RESOLUTION NO.
2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1990-91 ASSESSMENT
ROLL FOR ASSESS!IENT DISTRICT NO. 986, LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE, RIALTO AND
3 MACY AREA.

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 89-214, the Mayor and Co_on Council
6 found that the public interest, convenience, and necessity required the
7 formation of a landscaping maintenance district; and
8

WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 89-214, the Mayor and Common
10 Council formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 986
11 for the purpose of providing landscaping maintenance in the area of Rialto
12 Avenue and Macy Street pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San
13 Bernardino City Municipal Code; and

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 89-143, the Mayor and COllllon Council
16 declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district
17 will be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping; and
18

WHEREAS, said Resolution No.89-143 declared that an annual
20 assessment shall be levied on all land within the district to provide funding
21 for said landscaping maintenance and the administration thereof; and
22
23
WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totalling $1,493.90
24 which sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the
25 parcels of land within Assessment District No. 986 for the fiscal year 1990-

SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Counci I do hereby find and
