STAFF REPORT
As required by the provlslons of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code and
Resolutions No. 87-389 and 87-365, which established the District, the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 91ll (Meridian and Randall
l.andscape Maintenance) has been prepared ane! is attached to the Resolution.
The roll for 1990-91 totals $9,812.60 and is submitted to your Honorable Body
for action as required.

5 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 87-:JW), the Mayor and Common Council
6 found that the publ ic interest, convenience, dnd necessity required the
7 formation of a landscaping maintenanc" district; and

15 WIIEREAS, by Resol ut ion No. 87-365, the Mayor ami Common Council
16 declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district
17 wiII be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping; anrl

WHEREAS, said Resolution Nu. 87-365 declared that an annual
20 assessment shall be levied on all land within the district to provide funding
21 for said landscaping maintenance and the administration thereof; and
22
23 WIIEREAS. an Assessment Roll has been prepared total I ing 59,812.60
24 which sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the
25 parcels of land within Assessment District No. 981 for the fiscal year 1990-
26 91;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Counci I do her-eby find and
determine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of
land within Assessment District No. 981 are correctly set forth on
Assessment Roll No. 981 for the fiscal year 1990-91, designated as Exhihit
"A" and attached hereto, and do hereby confir"m said assessments.
SECTIOK 2. Thai the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this
Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-controlll!r for the
County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessments be
placed on the subject 1990-91 property tax hills for collection together
with all other property taxes.
