annual assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 976 (Pine and Belmont
Area Landscaping Mairrt..) has been prepared and b attached to the Hesolution.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 19'10-'11 ASSESSME!\T
ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 976, LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE, Plr;E AND
BELMONT AREA.
WlillREAS, by Resolution No. 86-341, the Mayor and Common Council
found that the puhlic interes l, convenience, and necessity r-cquired the
formation of a landscaping maintenance district; and
WHEREAS, by said Resolution r;o. 86-141, the Mayor dnd Common
Cound 1 formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 976
for the pur-pose of providing landscaping maintenance in the area of Pine and
Belmont Avenues pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San
Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 86-322, the Mayor and Common Council
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district
will be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping; and
WHEREAS,
said Resolution No.86-322 declared that an dnnual
assessment shall be levied on all land within the district to provide funding
for said landscaping maintenance and the admini stration thereof; illld
WHEREAS,
by Resolution No. 87-9, the Mayor and Common Council
declared that the public interest dnd necessity required the amendment of the
boundaries of the District by expanding the boundaries thereof to incl ude
additional territory in the District; dnd
