Synopsis of Previous Council action:
4-7-86
Resolution No. 86-98, adopted by the Nayor and Common Council,
found that the pulJlic interest, convenience and necessity required
the formation of a landscaping maintenance district.
3-3-06
Resolution No. 06-75, adopted by the Nayor and Common Council,
declared that all the land included within the boundar'ies of said
district will be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping.
Recommended motion:
Adopt the Resolution.

STAFF REPORT
As required by the prov1s1ons of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code and
Resolutions No. 86-98 and 86-75, which established the District. the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 970 (Cable Creek Area) has
been prepared and is attached to the Resolution.
The roll for 1990-91 totals $1.481.53 and is submitted to your Honorable Body
for action as required.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1990-91 ASSESSMENT
ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 970, LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE, CABLE CREEK
AREA.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 86-98, the Mayor and Common Council
found that the puhlic interest, convenience, and necessity required the
formation of a landscaping maintenance district; and
WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 86-913, the Mayor and Common Council
formed an assessment district known as Assessment District No. 970 f 01" the
purpose of providing landscaping maintenilnce in the Cahle Creek Area pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code; and
13 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 86-75, the Mayor and Common Council
14 declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district
15 will be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping; and

WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 86-75 declared that an annual
assessment shall be levied on all land within the district to provide funding
for said landscaping maintenance and the administration thereof; and
WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totalling $1,481.53
which sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the
22 parcels of land within Assessment District No. 970 for the fiscal year 1990-

NOli THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY 11JE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the ~layor and Common Counci I do hereby find and
determine that the pr'oportionate costs to be levied agilinst the varcals of
land within Ass!!ssment District No. 970 are correctly set forth on Assessment
Roll No. 970 for the fiscal :,eilr 1990-91, designilted as Exhihit "A" and
ilt tached hereto, and do her'eby conf ir'm said ass!!ssmenls.
SECTION 2. Thilt the Cit~- Clark is directed to cause a copy of this
I<esolution to be transmitted to the Office oj the Auditor-Controller for the
County of San Bernilrdino with the r'"quest that the individual assessments be
plilced on the subject 1'190-91 property tax bills for collection together with
a II other property tilxes.
