STAFF REPORT
Friday I June l, 990 I the Board of Building COI\1Dissioners was pre-
sented with the attached list of parcel numbers for consideration
of placing liens for unpaid weed abatement charges. The Board
approved the motion.
All corrections have been made and the list is now ready for sub-
mission to the County of San Bernardino Tax Assessor's Office.

WHEREAS, notice was given to the owners of record of said
properties, and a hearing has heretofore been held to hear
protests and assess tue costs of said abatement before the Board
of Bu ilc1 ing Com~liss ioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CO}1MON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Said costs are found to have been incurred by
the City pursuant to proceec1ill<,j5 uncler tll", San Be:::nardino
Municipal Code, and the final statement of costs on file with
the City Clerk is hereby confirmed and adopted as special
assessn:ents against the properties listed in Exhibit "A" hereto.
SEC'l'ION 2.
If said sum is not fully paid to the City
Clerk, City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after
mailing a notice to the person or persons of the adoption of
this resolution as to any such individual parcel, then said sum
shall be and become a lien on said property pursuant to said
25 Municipal Code provisions and applicable laws and shall be
26 collected as a special assessment thereon.
27 SECTION 3. In the event any sum is not paicJ
as
28 hereinabove prov ided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file

F SAN BERNARDINO ASSESSING COSTS OF ABATEl.lENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE
3 WHEREAS, pursu3nt to the San Bernardino ~unicipa1 Code,
4 itle B, Chapter B.27, the Director of Public Services of the
5 ity of San 3arn~roino has given notice of and thereafter abated
6 public nuisance found to exist on the properties described in
7 Ahibit nAn attached to and hereby incorporated in this order;
8 no
9 WHEREAS, pursuant to San Bernardino Municipal Code, the
10 irector of Public Servicas served notice to all property owners
11 isted in Exhibit "An, of the hearing before the Board of
12 uilding Commissioners of the City of San Bernardino relating to
13 batement costs to be assessed the owners and their right to
at said hearing and protest the assessments; and
WHEREAS, every property owner against whor.l an assessment
s been proposed has been afforded an opportunity to be heard by
e Board of Building Commissioners heretofore;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF BUILDING COMMISSIONERS OF THE
OF SAN BERNARDINO ORDERS TilE FOLLOWING:
1. Based upon the evidence submitted by the Director of
Services or his representative, it is found and determined
properties described in Exhibit nAn, consituted a public
isance which had to be abated by the City at the costs stated
Exhibit nAn.
2. These costs should be assessed in the amounts set
rth in Exhibit "A" against the respecUve properties and may be
de a personal Obligation of the property owner by commencement
court proceedings against the owner.

3. Any person aggrieved by this order may appeal to the
ommon Council by filing with the City Clerk a written statement
f the order appealed from, the specific ground of appeal and the
elief or action sought from the Common Council pursuant to the
