STAFF REPORT
I. At the May 7, 1990 Council Meeting (Agenda Item #9) the
salary for the temporary classification of Summer Lunch
Monitor was established at $5.00 per hour. The attached
resolution reflects said action.
II. At the May 7, 1990 Council Meeting (agenda item #64)
hourly salaries were increased for certain part-time and
temporary positions as follows:
Summer Youth Specialist
Recreation Aide
Recreation Leader
Sr. Recreation Leader
Recreation Specialist
Lifeguard
Senior Lifeguard
Supervising Lifeguard
Senior Services Aide
Coach Operator

III. The title of Intern replaces the former title Student

IV. The two grant funded positions of Teacher (Headstart)
and TeaCher/Director (Headstart) are being moved to the
section reflecting that they receive certain specified
benefits in accordance with their grant.

BASIC COMPENSATION PLAN. . ." BY UPDATING INFORMATION
CODIFYING PRIOR COUNCIL ACTIONS AND UPDATING THE TITLE OF
INTERN (FROM STUDENT INTERN).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Resolution No. 6413, Section Thirteen, is
7 amended to read as follows:
