Racommended motion:
That Change Order No. Two to the contract with SCC General
Contractor for the removal of Architectural Barriers at
Wildwood Park and Lytle Creek Park, in accordance with Plan
No. 7770, be approved; to authorize an increase in contract
price of $5,913.24, from $150,833.22 to $156,746.46.

STAFF REPORT
The plans and specifications for this project direct the
installation of 4 feet of fiberglass panels on the walls inside
the two new restroom buildings, in accordance with County Health
Department requirements. '
Due to continuing problems with graffiti, the Parks and
Recreation Department has requested that the fiberglass panels
be installed to the full 8-foot wall height, and gables. The
Contractor has quoted a price of $5,913.24 to install the
additional paneling in both buildings. We have verified that
this is a fair and reasonable price by obtaining additional
price quotes.
Change Order No. Two will authorize the Contractor to
install additional figerglass panels to the 8-foot full height
plus gables, for an additional cost of $5,913.24, which will
increase the contract price to $156,746.46.
. The total estimated project cost included an amount of
$17,648.00 for contingencies, which can be used to fund this
change order.
We recommend that Change Order No. Two be approved.

Gentlemen:
,You are hereby authorized and directed to install full
height F.R.P. panels, including plywood backing and all
necessary components in accordance with the manufacturer's
recommendations, on all inside walls, including gables,
of both restroom buildings as indicated by the wall finish
schedule on the project drawings. This work shall be per-
formed for the lump sum, agreed upon price, of $5,913.24,
and no additional compensation shall be allowed therefor.
