STAFF REPORT
On March 21, 1990, Resolution No. 90-84 was adopted, awarding a contract tor security
services to Parker Protective Services and Investments Corp dba Blanket Security
within the boundaries ot Assessment District No. 990, in the Highland and Arden Area.
The term ot contract was trom April 8, 1990 through June 30, 1990. The Special
Provisions provide that the contract may be extended tor up to two(2) one-year
periods, by mutual consent ot the City and Contractor.
Contract Change Order No. one extends the term ot the contract trom July 1, 1990
through June 30,1991. The basic bid unit price ot $15.41 will remain through the term
ot the contract extension.
Listed below is an estimate ot the total costs tor providing said security services
from July 1, 1990 through June 3D, 1991, based upon the stated bid unit price:

The cost for security services will be pre-funded by the City, and costs, plus

The terms and provisions of the contract documents are hereby amended as
follows:
The term of the contract is hereby extended for an additional year, from
July 1, 1990 through June 30, 1991.
All other terms, conditions and provisions shall remain through this extension
period as stated in said contract.
Total contract price for the extended period, based upon the bid unit price of
$15.41, and a total hours of 2.920, shall be $44,997.20.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, a Mutual
Agreement to Amend the Term of Contract No. 7791 to Provide for a
One-Year Extension Thereof.
SECTION 2. Said Mutual Agreement shall be of no force and
effect if not executed by all parties within sixty (60) days of
date of adoption of this Resolution.

THIS AGREEMENT is entered into as of this

WHEREAS, Contract No. 7791, a Contract to Parker

12 (Highland Avenue and Guthrie Street) provides that the Contract
13 is renewable for up to two (2) additional one-year periods by
14 mutual agreement; and
