Descriotion) Finance: Council Notes: 75-0262 Agenda Item No ilK --- - CI~f' OF SAN BERNARDIN~ - REQ~ST FOR COUNCIL A~ION STAFF REPORT At the May 7, 1990 meeting, the Mayor and Common Council set a public hearing to consider various revenue enhancement alternatives relative to enhancing security in the downtown area. This item has been considered by the Ways and Means Committee since May 7 and a final recommendation has not yet been prepared by the Committee for consideration by the Mayor and Common Council. It should be noted that the Ways and Means Committee is only considering security enhancement alternatives based on existing financial resources. It is not envisioned at this time that the revenue enhancement alternatives outlined in the May 7 Council motion will be recommended by the Ways and Means Committee for consideration by the Mayor and Common Council. o A.
