F-91-02
The proposed purchase is for weed abatement work City wide to be
utilized in daily operations by the Public Services/Refuse Department.
At the request of the department, appropriate specifications were
prepared, published and furnished to area suppliers. Bids were publicly
opened and declared on May 10. 1990.
The followin9 is a summary of Bids received.

Sixteen (16) vendors providin9 this service were solicited. Two (2)
responded, one (1) with a no bid and one (1) valid bid. The bid is a one
year bid. This service is for Fiscal Year 1990/91 (July I, 1990 throu9h
June 30, 1991).
Specifications as bid have been reviewed with the Director of Public
Servi ces who concurs that the Bi d of H & H Enterpri ses meets
specifi cati ons and requirements. It is therefore recommended that the
Bid be accepted for contract. The equipment fundin9 is in the 1990/91
budget.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A PURCHASE ORDER TO H &
H ENTERPRISES FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF WEED ABATEMENT SERVICES, TO
BE UTILIZED BY THE PUBLIC SERVICE/REFUSE DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH BID
SPECIFICATION F-91-02.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That H & H Enterprises is the lowest and best responsible
bidder for the furnishing and delivery of Weed Abatement Services in
accordance with Bid Specification F-91-02 for the total amount of $150,000.00;
pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and
directed to issue a purchase order for said Weed Abatement Services to said
lowest and best responsible bidder; such award shall oniy be effective.upon
the issuance of a Purchase Order by the Purchasing Agent; and all othir
quotations therefor are hereby rejected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by
the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
