06-02-86 Resolution No. 86-211 adopted awarding contract to
J & R Landscaping Maintenance Co. for the low bid
price of $76,500.00.
06-01-87 Resolution No. 87-181 adopted awarding a contract to
Mentone Turf Supply for the bid price of $87,600.00.
06-06-88 Resolution No. 88-180 adopted awarding a contract to

Bids for the maintenance of landscaping at Central City
Mall, City Hall, Central City Parking District Lots Nos. 1, 2 &
3, Central City West and various other facilities, were opened
at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, 5-22-90.
A total of 4 bids were received, ranging from $89,831.00
to $125,835.00. The low bid of $89,831.00 is 6.4% under the
Engineer's Estimate of $96,000.00.

based upon the actual low bid price:

the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services. The
costs for these services will be added to the contract costs.

Some adjustments may be needed in the proposed budget,
in order to reflect the various actual low bid prices.
We recommend that a contract be awarded to the low
bidder.
The contract documents provide for two one-year
extensions, by mutual consent.
