STAFF REPORT
On April 24, 1990, the city of San BernaI:dino Fire Deparbnent sub-
mitted a proposal for financial assistance for the rehabilitation of
the roofs at four (4) fire stations located throughout the city and
identified as fire stations rnnnbered 5, 6, 7, and 10. '!he roofs for
said stations are in need of repair and are =nstantly leaking
during rainy weather. Without repair of the fire station roofs, the
Director of Facilities Management has advised that one (1) or =re
fire stations might have to be closed during inclement weather.
'!he rehabilitation of said stations would eliminate further damage
to the interior of the buildings.
On May 3, 1990, the Community Development citizen Advisory Committee
considered this request for CDEG financial assistance and unani-
IrDUSly recamrrended to the Mayor and Camllon Council approval of this
project. Financial assistance, if approved, will be came from the
FY 1989/1990 CDEG Appropriated Reserve account.
