At their meeting of May 7, 1990, the Mayor and Common Couneil continued two
parcels slated tor Driveway fill-in located at the Northwest corner of 5th
and "D" streets. The par'cels No. 134-081-10 and ):J4-0HI-22 were continued
for further information until the meeting of May 21, 1990.
Vie have been in contact with the owuer Mr. Robert M. Norris and he states
that he is presently in negotiations with the Sun Company re lati ve to
leasing the property for parking pur'poses to them, therefore he does not
want to till iu the driveways as they may be necessary to the use of the
land as a parking lot.
Mr. Norris has indicated that he wi 11 be present at the meet ing to express
his desires.
If the Mayor and Counei 1 wish to honor Mr. Norris' request then the motion
will be as follows:
That Parce 1 Nos. 134-081-10 and 134-081-22 be de leted from the Driveway
fill-in project.
If the Mayor and Council choose to overrule Mr. Norris' protest, then the
motion is as follows:
That in regards to Parcel Nos. 134-081-10 and 134-081-22, the protest be
overruled and the hearing closed.
