B. A Senior civil Engineer position is being added to the Design section of
the Public Works/Engineering Department. This position has been budgeted
and filled for several years and was inadvertently omitted from the current
version of Resolution No. 6433.
C. Also, within the Traffic Section of Public Works/Engineering, the
Maintenance Worker III position was upgraded to a Lead Maintenance Worker
during the 1987 classification study. It has been budgeted and filled as a
Lead Maintenance Worker during this period. Therefore the title is being
corrected.
D. A Typist Clerk III position was established in Emergency Services during
the implementation of the 1987 classification study and has been budgeted
and filled accordingly. Prior Resolution 6433's have been reflecting this
position as a Typist Clerk II. This resolution is reflecting the correct
title.

Therefore 1 Park Maintenance Worker I was added and 1 Park Maintenance
Worker II was deleted.
F. Council Resolution No. 89-307 adopted by Council on August 7, 1989,
reflected 4 Dispatcher Supervisors in the Police Department. Council
Resolution No. 89-381 adopted by Council on September 18, 1989, reflected 6
Dispatcher Supervisors. That number should have been "5" as it represented
the 1 added Dispatcher Supervisor approved by Council motion on August 21,
1989. This resolution corrects that error.
The net increase in full-time budgeted positions approved by the Mayor and
Common Council from their 11/20/89 through 4/16/90 meeting is 33.
