Synopsis of Previous Council action:
Nutrition Contracts for Senior Nutrition have been executed as amended since
1977. Resolution 89-227, adopted on June 21, 1989 authorized the contract
for the 1989-90 fiscal year.

TO APPLY FOR AND ACCEPT A GRANT
FROM SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY OFFICE
ON AGING FOR THE SENIOR NUTRITION
PROGRAM.
The Senior Nutrition Program contract represents continuance
of an existing program in accordance with the recommended
proposal for 1990-91.

For the year 1990-91, the City of San Bernardino Senior
Nutrition Program will consist of the following sites:
Senior Service Center
Hernandez Center
Lytle Creek Center
Public Enterprise Center
Nicholson Center
Highland Senior Center
perris Hill Senior Center
Community Hospital Adult Day Care Center
The Senior Nutrition Program has been an on-going
since 1977. The program is federally funded through
III, the Older Americans Act, and will provide 111,384
nutritious meals to San Bernardino area residents.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.
The Director of Parks, Recreation and

Community Services Department of the city of San Bernardino
is hereby authorized and directed to submit an application t~
accept on behalf of the City a grant from San Bernardino
County Office on Aging for the Senior Nutrition Program for
the period of July 1, 1990 through June 30, 1991.
