Synopsis of Previous Council action:
10-17-89 --Tentative Tract No. 13554 approved by Planning Commission, with
conditions.
Recommended motion:
That the City Engineer and City Clerk are authorized to proceed with initiating
proceedings for the establishment of an assessment district under the provisions of
Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code and that the City Engineer is
directed to prepare an Engineer's Report for the proposed maintenance of Landscaping
along the San Bernardino County Flood Control Channel bordering Tract No. 13554 on the
North and along both sides of "H" Street generally of 53rd Street in the City of
San Bernardino.

STAFF REPORT
A petition has been received by this office requesting the formation of an assessment
district for the maintenance of landscaping along the San Bernardino County Flood
Control Channel which borders Tract No. 13554 on the North and along both sides of "H"
Street generally North of 53rd Street. This petition is the result of requirement by
the City for the Developer to establish the district. The. assessment will inc1 ude
maintenance of landscaping. energy cost s. and administrative costs. The signatures
affixed to the referenced petition have been checked and found to represent the owners
of 100 percent of the area of the property lying within the proposed boundaries of the
district to be assessed for the proposed maintenance.
The developer will be required to up-front the cod of the proceedings for
establishment of the district.
