STAFF REPORT
Complaints were received by this Department, after inspections
by Vehicle Abatement Officers, legal ten (10) day notices were issued
and mailed to land owners. Upon no response to the Abatement Orders,
the abandoned vehicles were abated by the City. Cost were incurred
by the City for abatement and are being liened on the properties.

Chapter 8.36 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code, did lawfully give notice
of and thereafter abate public nuisances found to exist on the properties
listed below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant
Facilities Management Department served notice on all propert~ oWo'"
abatement costs for removing abandoned, wrecked, dismantled,
inoperable vehicles or parts thereof from the property; and

WHEREAS. opportunity for a hearing the Board of Building Commissioners
to protest the abatement costs was afforded the property owners, with no
response forthcoming;
NOW TBEII.EFOKE, BE IT KESOLVED BY THE KAYOK AND COMMOlII COOIICIL OF THE
CITY OF SAlII BEIIHAIlDIJIO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and Common Council confirm and adopt as special
assessments, the following abatement costs which have been incurred by the
City for the abatement of public nuisances found to exist on the following
propertn,s: '
