STAFF REPORT
A request was received by a property owner owning property within the area generally
located between Tippecanoe Avenue and Mountain View Avenue, North of the 1-10 Freeway,
for annexation.
On September 19, 1990, authorization was given proceed with the proposed annexation. A
Resolution making formal application to LAFCO was adopted on November 20,1989. It was
later found that some parcels had to be excluded fro. the proposal since they had been
previously annexed to the City of Redlands for water purposes, and another resolution
was adopted repealing the first resolution, and excluding those areas.
It has since been found that an additional parcel was inadvertently left out of the
parcels to be excluded and the attached resolution amends Resolution No. 90-54 to
reflect this change.
URGENCY CLAUSE: LAPCO has the proposed annexation scheduled for review on May 23,
1990, and they need the corrected description by May II, 1990.

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
90-54 MAKING APPLICATION TO THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION OF THE
COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR THE ANNEXATION OF THE TERRITORY LOCATED NORTH
OF THE 1-10 FREEWAY, BETWEEN TIPPECANOE AVENUE AND MOUNTAIN VIEW AVENUE.
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of February, 1990, the Mayor and Common
Council of the City of San Bernardino did adopt Resolution No. 90-54, making
application to the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San
Bernardino for the annexation of the territory generally located North of
the 1-10 Freeway, between Tippecanoe Avenue and Mountain View Avenue; and
WHEREAS, certain portions of land within the described territory
have been previously annexed to the City of Redlands for water purposes and
is to excluded from said territory proposed to be annexed to the City of San
bernardino.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
14 BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
15 SECTION 1. ExhIbit "C" of Resolution No. 90-54 is hereby amended
16 by substitution of Exhibit "C", attached hereto and incorporated by
17 reference as fully as though set forth in length.
18 SECTION 2. The Clerk of the City of San Bernardino is hereby
19 authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with the
20 Executive Officer of the LOC~l Agency Formation Commission of the County of
21 San Bernardino.

DESCRIPTION FOR PROPOSED ANNEXATION NO. 342, LOCATED NORTH OF THE 1-10
FREEWAY, BETWEEN TIPPECANOE AVENUE AND MOUNTAIN VIEW AVENUE
All those various Subdivisions, portions of Subdivisions and Tracts, located
within the County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline of Tippecanoe
Avenue and the North line of the Interstate 10 Freeway, said point being on
the Corporate City limit line of the City of San Bernardino, as it now
exists: thence North and East, along said City Limit line and following all
it's various courses and distances to the centerline of Mountain View
Avenue; thence leaving said City limit line, South along said centerline of
Mountain View Avenue, to the North line of said Interstate 10 Freeway:
thence West, along said North line, to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom the following portions:
PARCEL ONE: Those portions of Lots 83 and 84, Victoria Farms Unit No.1,
Tract 1892, as per map recorded in Book 27 of Maps, page 27, records of
the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 84: thence East, a
distance of 170 feet; thence South, a distance of 170 feet: thence West,
a distance of 170 feet; thence North, a distance of 170 feet to the
point of beginning.
PARCEL TWO: Lots 77 and 78, Victoria Farms Unit No. 1,
Tract 1892, as per map recorded in Book 27 of Maps, page 27, records of
the County Recorder of San Bernardino County.

recorded in Book 27 of Maps, page 27, records of the County Recorder of
