STAFF REPORT
On March 15, 1990, the Cemetery Department reviewed price comparisons for
materials, services and burial fees in the privately owned and other muni-
pal cemeteries in our area. The proposed increase will generate an additional
$30,500.00 in revenue.
The Cemetery Department recommends the following increases:

SCHEDULE OF CHARGES FOR THE SALE OF MATERIALS AND
THE CEMETERY COMMISSION OF SAID CITY; AND REPEALING
NO. 89-228 AND ALL SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS THERETO.

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.

will be charged at double the regular fees for these services.
SECTION 3. Cemetery operating hours are hereby
established as follows:
Monday through Friday, except city established Holidays
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
All interment services on Saturday shall be scheduled so
that mourners will be out of the cemetery by 11:30 a.m.
A $50.00 cash deposit shall be required in advance for
all weekday (Monday through Friday) afternoon and Saturday inte-
rments. If the interment service is over and mourners are out
of the cemetery by 4:00 p.m. on weekdays or by 11:30 a.m. on
Saturdays, the deposit will be refunded. An additional charge
of $50.00 per hour will be levied for each hour or fraction
thereof after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays or after 11:30 a.m. on
Saturdays that interment services are not concluded, or mourners
are not out of the cemetery. The $50.00 deposit shall apply to
that charge.
SECTION 4. Costs for concrete sectional grave and one
piece domed liners, without bottoms, and concrete burial vaults
are hereby established as follows:

to accept a minimum of $500.00 for a complete interment from the
Public Administrator's or Public Guardian's Office.
