Synopsis of Previous Council action:
Recommended motion:
That the hearing be closed; that the protests in regards to Assessor's
Parcel Nos. 140-042-18 and 145-211-11 be overruled; and that it be
found and determined that the public convenience and necessity require
the improvement of abandoned driveways and installation of off-site
improvements in front of the parcels and that the Director of Public
Works/City Engineer be directed to cause the installation of said
improvements and improvement of abandoned driveways if the property
owners have not commenced such construction by May 22, 1990.

Continued parcels, Driveway Fill-ins.

Reference item no. 44 of the Council Agenda for April 16, 1990 wherein two
properties were continued to the May 7, 1990 meeting.
We have been in contact with Councilman Reilly regarding these parcels and
have satisfied his concerns. The one property, 140-042-04 wi 11 be required
to fill-in his portion of the driveway and Finishland, which was
inadvertently omitted, will be notified to fi lI-in on our next project.
The other property, 145-211-11 is going to install a gate at the location
of the driveway.
It is therefore requested that the parcels be re-included in the project
with the following motion:
That in regards to Assessors' Parcels No. 140-042-18 and 145-211-11, that
the protests be overruled and find and determine that the public
convenience and necessity require the improvement of abandoned driveways
and installation of off-site improvements in front of the parcels and order
the work done; and that the Director of Publ ic Works/City Engineer be
directed to cause the installation of said improvements and improvement of
abandoned driveways if the property owners have not commenced such
construction by May 22, 1990.
