Recommended motion:
That the plans for installation of new ballfield lighting systems
in Nunez Park, in accordance with Plan No. 8098, be approved; and
the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be authorized to ad-
vertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for the installation of new Ballfield Lighting
Systems for the two softball fields in Nunez Park are being
prepared by our Engineering Division. This project will con-
sist of installing new lighting systems to replace the existing
systems. Every effort will be made to design the new systems so
that the existing systems can be kept in operation during con-
struction. .
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 170,000
Engineering & Insp. (W. O. #1865) 17,000
Sub-Total $ 187,000
Contingencies (15%):t 28,000
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 215,000
The following amounts have been allocated in the Park
Construction Fund, under Account No. 243-363-57531, to finance
the cost for development of Nunez Park. Replacement of the
ballfield lighting systems will be the first phase of the
development of Nunez Park.
