COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT All work required under this contract was satisfactorily completed as of 2-22-90. The contract was awarded for the low bid price of $60,2l0.53. Change Order No. One, authorizing the construction of additional concrete walls as required by the County Flood Control District, increased the contract price to $6l,2l0.53. The actual final contract price is $65,640.l7 due to more aggregate base and asphalt pavement required than the estimated bid amounts. The additional pavement materials were necessary in order to match the railroad crossing grade. We recommend that the work be approved and accepted, and that final payment be authorized at the expiration of the lien period.
