Synopsis of Previous Council action:
On November 20, 1989 Council approved a motion to establish salaries for Fire
Safety classifications for P-l throu9h P-4, and Police Safety classifications
P-l through P-3; on January 8, 1990 Council approved a motion to estahlish
salaries for Police Management classifications P-4 through P-7: and on February
5, 1990 Council approved a motion to establish salaries for Fire '1anagement
classifications P-5 throuqh P-7, Training Officer, and Fire Marshal)~ Resolution
6429 is attached, incorporating all 3 Council motions.
Recommended motion:
Adopt resolution.

ESTABLISHING A BASIC COMPENSATION PLAN FOR OFFICERS AND/OR
2 EMPLOYEES OF THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
4 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
