CDBG Program.
03-21-88 Finding made of need for health and safety reasons
for Lytle Creek and Wildwood Park Project.
11-20-89 Approval of supplemental funds in the amount of
$42,835.00 for Wildwood Park, from available
balances in other CDBG funded projects. '
11-20-89 Plans approved and authorization granted to ad-
vertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Bids for this project were received at 2:00 p.m. on 1-
16-90.
A total of 8 bids were received, ranging from
$149,902.00 to $300,761.50. The low bid of $149,902.00 is 1.96%
below the Engineer's Estimate of $152,899.00.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost,
based upon the actual low bid price.

1 RESOLUTION NO.
2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A
CONTRACT TO SCC GENERAL CONTRACTORS FOR REMOVAL OF ARCHITECTURAL
3 BARRIERS, PHASE II, IN WILDWOOD PARK AND LYTLE CREEK PARK.
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION
1.
SCC General Contractors is the lowest
responsible bidder for Removal of Architectural Barriers, Phase
II, in WildlrlOod Park and Lytle Creek Park, in accordance with
Plan No. 7770, for the total a~ount of $149,902.00, and a
contract is awarded to said bidder accordingly, but such award
shall be effective only upon the contract being fully executed by
the parties; all other bids therefore are hereby rejected; and
the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute said
contract on behalf of the City; a copy of the contract is
attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by
reference as fully as though set forth at length.
SECTION 2. This contract and any amendment or modifica-
tions thereto shall not take effect or beco~e operative until
fully signed and executed by the parties and no party shall be
obligated hereunder until the ti~e of such full execution. No
oral agreements,
amendments, modifications or waivers are
intended or authorized and shall not be implied from any act or
course of conduct of any party.
SECTION 3.
This resolution is rescinded if the parties
to the contract fail to execute it within sixty (60) days of the
passage of this resolution.
