DESCRIPTION) Senior Citizens Service Center Budget FlnBnce:,4,47/dal ~/L~ , ,/1/ Council Notel: ,g CITY OF SAN BERt- ~RDINO - REQUEST' )R COUNCIL ACTION RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION 89-227 STAFF REPORT AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM TO INCLUDE AN ADDITIONAL ONE TIME GRANT OF $34,000.00. Amendment No.1 to Resolution 89-227 (County Agreement No. 89-573 will provide a one time grant for the Senior Nutrition Program in the amount of $34,000.00. These funds will be allocated towards kitchen renovations, (Sr. Center, Nicholson, Lytle Creek), raw food purchases and one (1) additional vehicle to transport meals to satallite sites. The Senior Nutrition Program 1989-90 contract represents a continuance of an existing program that has been ongoing since 1977. Under the amendment, the contract will be modified as follows. December 20, 1989 -, C';._n" &;..1. 10 11 12 1 2 RESOLUTION NO. 3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO ACTING AS THE AREA AGENCY ON AGING APPROVING A REVISED BUDGET FOR THE SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM TO INCLUDE AN ADDITIONAL ONE-TIME GRANT SUM OF $34,000.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF RAW FOOD AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO IMPROVE THE MEAL SERVICE FOR THE BUDGET YEAR 1989-90. 4 5 6 7 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 8 SECTION 1.
