Adopted Resolution No. 89-330 Ordering Work & Establishing
Assessment District No. 991.
Recommended motion:
That the City Engineer and City Clerk are authorized to proceed with
initiating proceedings for the expansion of boundaries of Assessment
District No. 991 (Verdemont & Olive area Landscape Maintenance District)
under the provisions of Chapter 12.90.060 of the San Bernardino Municipal
Code and Section 3113 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.

STAFF REPORT
A petition has been received by this office requesting the formation of an
assessment di stri ct for the mai ntenance of landscapi ng along the major streets
which border Tentative Tract No. 13530 and along a slope on the Southerly side
of the Tract. These proposed subdivi si ons adjoin the boundaries of Assessment
District No. 991 which is already established for the same purposes and it is
the purpose of thi s acti on to amend the boundaries of the di stri ct by expandi ng
same to i ncl ude the new Tract.
The signatures affixed to the referenced petition have been checked and found to
represent the owners of 100 percent of the area of the property lying within
the proposed expanded area liable to be assessed for the proposed maintenance.
The developer wi 11 be requi red to up-front the cost of the proceedi ngs for the
expansion of the District.
