Adopted Resolution No. 87-407 Ordering the Expansion of
the Boundaries of the District.
Recommended motion:
That the City Engineer and City Clerk are authorized to proceed with initiating
proceedings for the expansion of boundaries of Assessment District No. 975 (Mill
& Pepper Area Landscape Mai ntenance Di s tri ct) under the provi si ons of Chapter
12.90.060 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code and Section 3113 of the Streets
and Hi ghways Code of the State of Ca 1 iforni a.

STAFF REPORT
A petition has been received by this office requesting the formation of an
assessment district for the maintenance of landscaping along the major streets
whi ch border Tenta ti ve Tract No. 13953 Thi s proposed subdi vi si on adjoi ns the
boundariej of Assessment District No. 975 which is already established for the
same purposes and it is the purpose of thi s acti on to amend the boundari es of
the district by expanding same to include the new Tract.
The signatures affixed to the referenced petition have been checked and found to
represent the owners of 100 percent of the area of the property lyi ng wi thin
the proposed expanded area liable to be assessed for the proposed maintenance.
The developer will be requi red to up-front the cost of the proceedi ngs for the
expansion of the District.
