Resolution No. 10585 covers this same issue as was discussed under a previous item on this agenda, namely the need to limit the number of employees in a bargaining unit who attend meet and confer sessions on matters other than a new MOU on city time. The attached resolution incorporates these same proposed changes as were presented earlier to amend Resolution No. 10584. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Resolution No. 10585 Section 1, Rule 2 i hereby amended to read as follows: "RULE 2 - REASONABLE TIME OFF TO MEET AND CONFER. The formally recognized employee organization may than five City employees of the formally recognized represented at scheduled meet and confer sessions with representatives on a new Memorandum of Understanding by not organization, with an equal number for management, regular work hours without loss of compensation. If the City elects to have more three representatives at the table for any such meet and session, the same number of City employees in the appropriat bargaining unit shall be authorized to attend such meetings. employee organization shall, whenever practicable, submit names of all such employee representatives to the Designate City Representative and the affected department head at leas two working days in advance of such meetings. Except in cases of emergency, the department head shal grant permission for employee representatives to attend meeting with the Designated City Representative.
