This amendment will add a new section settiua-a curfew of8:00 p.m. for the Market Night event held in Perris Hill Park. As with the current ordinance, this curfew will not apply to minors who are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult. ORDINANCE NO. 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION 9.68.QIO(A)(I) OFTHE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO CURFEW 3 DURING THE CITY SPONSORED MARKET NIGHT BY ADDING SUBSECTION (A)(l)(c) 4 5 6 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 9.68.010(A)(l) is hereby amended to read, in its entirety. as follows: 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 III 27 III 28 III 9.68.010 Definitions. '0 A. - Definitions. In this section: . - I. CURFEW HOURS means: (a) II :00 p.m. on any Sunday, Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday until 6:00 a.m. of the following day; (b) 12:01 a.m. until6:00 a.m. on any Saturday or Sunday; and (c) The period from 8:00 p.m. on the evening of the City's sponsored Market Night(s). until 6:00 a.m. the following day, within the Market Night outdoor area and all public property located within twenty feet of the Market Night outdoor area. For purposes of this chapter, the "Market Night outdoor area" is defined as that portion of Perris Hill Park, located between the Flood Control Channel and Perris Hill Park Road on the west and Elks Drive on the east, between Highland Avenue on the north, and all of the small mountain known as Perris Hill on the south, located west of an imaginary line extended due south over said Perris Hill from the point where the southernmost end of Elks Drive becomes a private road, to the foot of Perris Hill on said hill's south side. and extending to Perris Hill Park Road.
