The following information is being used in Penmans political campaign and paid for by the San Bernardino
Police Officers Association and is totally inaccurate and misleading.
I) Penman stated that the Turrill House was not in compliance with state law having more than six 290
registers in one location. I have six 290's per address which is in compliance with state law. Not twenty four
as publicly stated by Penman in his last debate, or eighteen as fraudulently stated on the following political
propaganda Just six per address, period.
2) The flyer also makes reference to Dean Eric Dunlap. The man never lived at Turrill House. I never met
this person. So why is Turrill House even mentioned in conjunction with him. Just more lies and deceptions.
3) The flyer makes mention of Roosevelt Elementary School being three and one half blocks from Turrill
House. Turrill House is one half mile from Roosevelt and in compliance with state law 3003(g). This was
just another deception.
4) If you look carefully at the photo with the group of men on the porch located at 1962 Turrill, you will see
that the faces have been blocked out. Also look at the fact that they change the address from Turrill A venue
to Turrill Street. They knew that this whole flyer was base on out right fraudulent information. So they
blocked out the faces and changed the address from Turrill Ave. to Turrill St. They did this to shield them
from legal liability, period.
In conclusion I really thought more of the police Offices association than this. I thought that they
were good men. Now I am just disgusted with the political mess. Everyone has questions but no one has any
answers. No one wants to get their hands dirty. They just want to sit on the sideline making fraudulent
statements. Many parolees are in programs and being integrated back into society. There are more good
men than bad trying to put their lives back together and have the support of the parole office and their
programs. For these programs to work and function as designed we all need to support these programs.
Including support from the Police departments and the higher level government offices.
