LIMITATION OF PARKING AT THE BASEBALL STADIUM
TO EVENTS BEING HELD AT THE STADIUM

This, Order is to clarify the issues in Executive Order 2000-1. Executive Order 2000-1 does not itself
prohibit activities at non-City-owned venues. The San Bernardino Baseball Stadium is a City-owned
facility. The Stadium is utilized primarily by the Stampede Baseball Team pursuant to a contract
between the City and the Team. The Stampede frequently schedules other events at the Stadium.
. In addition, a marketing company is under contract with the City to market the &tadiwn for events.
To prevent coordination problems with Stampede Baseball, the marketing company and the City
each scheduling events at the Stadium, parking in the Baseball Stadium parking lot shall be limited
to events held on the Stadium premises. This Order supersedes Executive Order 2000-1 as it applies
to the San Bernardino Baseball Stadium parking lot only.
Therefore, in my capacity as Mayor of this City and by this Executive Order, I hereby:
(1) Direct that, effective immediately, Stadium parking shall be limited to events
being held on the Baseball Stadium premises.
