BACKGROUND On December 6, 2004, and December 20, 2004, the Mayor and Common Council approved salaries established for the following Police and Fire Department classifications as a result of negotiations required under Charter Section 186. Police Department P-l, P-2, P-3, P-4, P-5, P-6 & P-7 Fire Department P-l, P-2/PARAMEDIC, P-3, P-4 (CAPTAIN) & P-4 (INVESTIGATOR) P-5, P-6, P-7, FIRE MARSHAL & TRAINING OFFICER As in previous years, Section Three of Resolution No. 6429 needs to be amended to reflect the above Council actions. As reflected in the attached Resolution, the Human Resources Department was directed by the Mayor and Common Council to amend Resolution No. 6429. FINANCIAL IMPACT There is no financial impact to amend Resolution No. 6429. RECOMMENDATION Adopt Resolution.
