Synopsis of Previous Council Action:
October 4, 2004 Council voted unanimously to autborize the Mayor to execute an agreement with the
San Manuel Band of Mission Indians relating to public improvement projects related to Tribal Project
impacts.
Recommended motion:
That the Director of Finance be autborized to amend the FY 2004/2005 budget for tbe Public
Improvement Fund (Fund 246) by increasing tbe revenue budget in account 246-000-4902 by
$5,500,000 and increasing tbe expenditure budget by $5,500,000 for capital improvement
projects: Highland Ave to Lynwood Improvements ($1,226,100), Otber ad
Issues/Improvements ($581,000), Off Road Scope@ResidentialArea $2,767,800), and
Property Acquisition/Project Contingencies ($925, I 00).

STAFF REPORT

Authorize budget amendment inadvertently omitted at the October 4,2004 meeting of the Mayor
and Common Council.
Backl!found:
On October 4, 2004, the Council voted unanimously to authorize the Mayor to execute an
agreement with the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians relating to public improvement projects
related to Tribal Project impacts.
The Staff Report indicated the following recommended motions:
1. Adopt Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino
authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with the San Manuel Band of Mission
Indians relating to public improvement projects related to Tribal Project impacts; and
2. Authorize the Director of Finance to amend the FY 2004-2005 budget for the Public
Improvement Fund (Fund 246) by increasing the revenue budget in account 246-000-
4902 by $5,500,000 and increasing the expenditure budget by $5,500,000 for capital
improvement projects: Highland Ave to Lynwood Improvements ($1,226,100), Other
Road Issues/Improvements ($581,000), Off Road Scope @Residential Areas
($2,767,800), and Property AcquisitionlProject Contingencies ($925,100).
Only the first motion appeared on the on the Request for Council Action and the meeting agenda;
therefore, the motion authorizing the accompanying budget amendment was not acted upon.
