RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE TO THE ANNUAL PURCHASE
ORDERS TO BURRTECWASTE INDUSTRIES, INC. AND/OR INLAND REGIONAL
MATERIAL RECOVERY TO PROVIDE FOR GREEN WASTE PROCESSING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Burrtec Waste Industries and Inland Regional Material
Recovery provides green waste processing services within a reasonable driving
9 distance of the City's operation. Pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing
Manager is hereby authorized to increase Purchase orders to Burrtec Waste Industries
and Inland Regional Material Recovery by $580,200 for a combined total of $630,000.
SECTION 2. The Purchase Order shall reference this Resolution No.2004-_
and shall read, "P.O. No.
, for green waste processing, not to
exceed a combined total of $630,000 and shall incorporate the terms and conditions of
this Resolution.
SECTION 3. The authorization to execute the above referenced Purchase
Order is rescinded if not issued within sixty (60) days of the passage of this resolution.
