Increase the salary range for Athletic Field Maintenance Specialist from salary range 2401 ($3280-$3987) to salary range 2407 ($3380-$4108) 2. Increase the salary range for Park Project Supervisor from salary range 2425 ($3697-$4494) to salary range 2431 ($3809-$4630) 3. Backaround: On November 17, 2003 the Mayor and Council approved the proposed Parks, Recreation and & Community Services Department Reorganization. Part of the original reorganization included moving two of the employees from the General Unit to the Mid-Management Unit. In the process of implementing the approved reorganization the General Unit received a 3% COLA increase. The approved salary ranges for the mid-management positions did not include the 3% adjustment. The mid-management positions need to be increased to include the 3% adjustment to ensure that the move to the new bargaining group will not result in less pay for the employees. Financial Impact: There is no Financial Impact. The proposed increase was budgeted with the General Unit 3% COLA increase. Recommendation: 1.
