Holcomb has called a Special Meeting of the Common Council for 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 14, 1983. Said Council Meeting will be held in the Re- development Agency Conference Room, 300 North "D" Street, San Bernardino, California. The purpose for which this meeting has been called is to adopt a resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement with Florian/Martinez Associates relating to landscape archi- tectural services for Seccombe Lake Park. /s/ SHAUNA CLARK City Clerk . City of San Bernardino, California January 14, 1983 The Special Meeting of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino was called to order by Council Member Reilly on Friday, January 14, 1983, at 2:00 p.m., in the Re- development Agency Conference Room, 300 North "D" Street, San Bernardino, California. APPOINTMENT - REILLY - MAYOR PRO TEMPORE Council Member Hernandez made a motion, seconded by Council Member Strickler and unanimously carried, that Council Member Reilly be appointed Mayor Pro Tempore in the absence of the Mayor. INVOCATION The Invocation was given by Gary Van Osdel, Executive Direc- tor of the Redevelopment Agency. . PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Council Member Marks. ROLL CALL Roll Call was taken by the City Clerk with the following being present: Mayor Pro Tempore Reilly; Council Members Reilly, Hernandez, Marks, Quiel, Strickler; City Attorney Prince, City Clerk Clark, City Administrator Matzer. Absent: Mayor Holcomb; Council Members Castaneda, Hobbs. RES. 83-4 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNAR- DINO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH FLORIAN/MARTINEZ ASSOCIATES RELATING TO LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR SECCOMBE LAKE PARK. The City Clerk read the title of the resolution. . Annie Ramos, Director of Park and Recreation, explained the reason for adopting this contract for architectural services at this time stating that she had received a call from the State Department of Parks and Recreation indicating that it was im- perative to finalize the contract document as the Governor's Office was considering freezing the grant funds for this park. COUNCIL MEMBER HOBBS ARRIVED At 2:07 p.m., Council Member Hobbs arrived at the Council Meeting. . . . . . . Council Member Hernandez made a motion, seconded by Council Member Strickler and unanimously carried, that further reading of the resolution be waived and said resolution be adopted. Resolution No. 83-4 was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Council Members Reilly, Hernandez, Marks, Quiel, Hobbs, Strickler. Noes: None. Absent: Council Member Castaneda. ADJOURN MEETING At 2:10 p.m., Council Member Strickler made a motion, seconded by Council Member Marks and unanimously carried, that the meeting be adjourned.
