DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS STAFF REPORT Approval of Plans and Authorization to Advertise for Bids Construction of Restroom Building at Nicholson Park Plans for a restroom building at Nicholson Park have been pre- pared by the Engineering Division, and the project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project consists, in general, of reMoving the existing restroom building, and constructing a new building in accordance with current codes. Below is an estimate of the total project cost: Construction Contract $ 122,300 Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1309) 10,000 Sub-Total $ 132,300 Contingencies (4%)I 5,300 TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 137,600 All costs incurred for this project will be financed from the $137,800 allocated in the 1994/95 CDBG Program. We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization granted to advertise for bids. 5-16-95 tJ
