STAFF REPORT
A petition was received from the developer of Tract No. 10352/10352-3, to expand the
boundaries of Assessment District No. 952, Zone 3, to include this subdivision. The
subdivision adjoins the boundaries of Assessment District No.952, Zone 3, which was
formed to maintain landscaping along portions of Northpark Boulevard, East of Little
Mountain Drive. The boundaries of the district, as they now exist, splits this Tract,
and this action is necessary to include all benefiting properties.
On April 17, 1995, the Resolution of Intention was adopted and the Engineer's Report
was approved. There are no additional areas of maintenance being added to the.
district. By expanding its boundaries, the assessments' for the existing parcels within
Zone 3 of the district will be reduced.
The first assessments to be levied on the parcels within the expanded area will be on
the 1996-97 assessment roll. Since this will be a new assessment within the expanded
area, a public meeting and public hearing will be held prior to the assessments being
levied.
Staff recommends adoption of the attached Resolution Ordering the Expansion of
boundaries for Assessment District No. 952, Zone 3.
