accordance with Plan No. 9285, be approved; and the Director of
Public Works/City Engineer be authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for the modification of traffic signals on "E"
Street, at 6th Street, 7th Street, 8th Street and 10th Street,
have been prepared by the Engineering Division, and the project
is ready to be advertised for bids. The project consists, in
general, of installing pedestrian push buttons, detection loops,
and additional traffic signal standards and indications.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 40,000
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1384) 3,600
Sub-Total $ 43,600
Contingencies (15%)I 6,400
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 50,000
