i ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
15.76.200 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO RATES
FOR TAXICAB SERVICE, AND PERMITTING A FIFTY CENT SURCHARGE PER
TRIP TO EXISTING METER FEES FOR TAXICAB SERVICE.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
5 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 5.76.200 Subsection B. of the San
7 Bernardino Municipal Code is amended to read:

"B. The minimum rate shall be forty-five cents for the one-
9
quarter mile, or flagdrop; ten cents for each additional two-
10
fifths mile or fraction thereof; plus a fifty cent surcharge

per trip. The minimum waiting time rate shall be four
12
dollars per hour. The minimum fare for extra passengers, if
13
such a charge is authorized by the bureau, shall be twenty-
]4
five cents for each extra passenger."

Section 2. Section 5.76.200 Subsection C. of the San
]6 Bernardino Municipal Code is amended to read:

"C. The maximum rate shall be ninety cents for the first one

ninth mile, or flagdrop; twenty cents for each additional one
]9
fifth mile or fraction thereof; plus a fifty cent surcharge

per trip. The maximum waiting time rate shall be nine

dollars per hour. The maximum fare for extra passengers, if
22 such a charge is authorized by the bureau, shall be fifty
23 cents for each extra passenger."
