2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ADDING CHAPTER 2.72
TO THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PAYMENT OF
3 DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Chapter 2.72 is added to the San Bernardino
7 Municipal Code to read:
8 "Chapter 2.72
9 DEMANDS AGAINST CITY; PAYMENT

2.72.010 Demands; payment; signature.
II Drafts (warrants) or checks for payment of approved ol"-,,,ands
12 against the City shall be signed by tns City Treasurer or such oth r
13 city official as may be designated by resolution of the Mayor and
14 Common Council and countersigned by the City Clerk. Pursuant to
15 Section 135 of the Charter, this provision shall prevail over any
16 conflicting provisions of the general law."
