ORDINANCE OF TilE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO FIXING TilE AMOUNT
OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE TAXABLE
PROPERTY WITIIIN SAID CITY TO PAY TilE BONDED AND OTIIER INDEBTEDNESS
OF THE CITY. (EMERGENCY ORDINANC E )
TilE MAYOR AND CO~~ON COUN~IL OF TilE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The amount of money necessary to be raised by
taxation upon the taxable property within the corporate limits of
the City of San Bernardino for the current year beginning July 1,
1981, and ending June 30, 1982, to pay the bonded indebtedness
and other indebtedness of said City is hereby determined and
fixed at the aggregate sum of $77,250.00 apportioned among the
various funds of said City as follows, to wit:
1. To the Library Bond Fund, the
sum of

2. To the Fire System Bond, 1962
Interest and Redemption Fund,
the sum of
$77,250.00
SECTION 2. It is hereby found and declared that this is
an ordinance for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health, safety and welfare of said City and the inhabitants
thereof, and that this is an emergency measure, it being an
ordinance adopted pursuant to Section 131
of the Charter of said ,

City, and by an Act of the Legislature of
Statutes of 1913, and subsequent amendments, and Government Code
Title 5, Division 1, Part 2, Chapter 2, Article 2, by the pro-
visions of which Act this ordinance must take effect before the
first day of September, 1981, in order to levy any valid tax for
municipal purposes, without which ordinance and taxes there will
be insufficient revenues or funds on hand to defray the expense

of said City.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately
after its passage and approval.
