ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING CHAPTER
10.52 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO CONFORM POSTED SPEED
ZONES TO ENGINEERING SURVEYS ON STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 10.52.010 of the San Bernardino Municipa~
Code is amended to read:
"10.52.010 Thirty miles an hour.
In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections
22357, 22358, 22360, and 22413 of the California Vehicle Code, the
Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the
basis of an engineering and traffic investigation, that a prima
facie speed limit of thirty miles per hour shall be established on
the following streets or portions thereof in the City:
"E" Street: between Rialto Avenue and Tenth Street.
"F" Street: between Thirty-fourth Street and a point
six hundred feet north of Thirty-sixth Street.
Parks ide Drive: between Marshall Boulevard and Thirty-
seventh Street."
SECTION 2. Section 10.52.020 of the San Bernardino Municipal
Code is amended to read:
"10.52.020 Thirty-five miles an hour.
In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections
22357, 22358, 22360, and 22413 of the California Vehicle Code, the
Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the
basis of an engineering and traffic investigation, that a prima
facie speed limit of thirty-five miles per hour shall be
established on the following streets or portions thereof in the
Atlantic Avenue: between Palm Avenue and Cienega Court.
"D" Street: between Sixth Street and Marshall
Boulevard.
David Way: between Fortieth Street and Forty-fifth
Street.
"E" Street: between Tenth Street and Highland Avenue.
Eucalyptus Avenue: between Mill Street and Rialto
Avenue.
"G" Street: between Sixth Street and Marshall
Boulevard.
Gilbert Street: between Waterman Avenue and a point two
hundred seven feet easterly of Cedar Street.
Golden Avenue: between Highland Avenue and Twenty-
eighth Street.
Highland Avenue: between "I" Street and "E" Street;
between Sierra Way and Valencia Avenue.
Inland Center Drive: between "E" Street and a point
more or less one thousand five hundred seventy-five feet
southwesterly of "I" Street.
Massachusetts Avenue: between Base Line Street and
Highland Avenue.
Mill Street: between Bordwell Avenue and Waterman
Avenue.
Mt. Vernon Avenue: between Grant Street and Rialto
Avenue; between Seventh Street and Twenty-seventh Street.
Muscott Street: between Fifth Street and Base Line
Street.
Rialto Avenue: between Muscott Street and Waterman

10 north of Mill Street and Fortieth Street; between Rialto

13 Thirtieth Street and Fortieth Street."
14 SECTION 3. Section 10.52.030 of the San Bernardino Municipal
15 Code is amended to read:
16 "10.52.030 Forty miles an hour.
17 In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections
18 22357, 22358, 22360, and 22413 of the California Vehicle Code, the
19 ayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the
20 asis of an engineering and traffic investigation. that the prima
21 facie speed limit of forty miles per hour shall be established on
22 the following streets or portions thereof in the City:
23 Arrowhead Avenue: between Esperanza Street and Rialto
24 Avenue; between Seventh Street and Thompson Place; between
25 Thompson Place and Kendall Drive.
26 Base Line Street: between Sierra Way and Bobbitt Drive;
27 between Muscott Street and "H" Street.
28 Del Rosa Avenue: between Highland Avenue and a point

Avenue.
Macy Street: between Highland Avenue and the north City
limi t.
Meridian Avenue: between Foothill Boulevard and Rialto
Avenue.
Mill Street: between Waterman Avenue and a point
approximately one thousand two hundred fifty feet easterly.
Miramonte Avenue: between Twenty-third Street and
Marshall Boulevard.
Mt. View Avenue: between Victoria Street and Lupin Lane.
Muscott Street: between Base Line Street and Highland
Avenue.

21 Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the
22 basis of an engineering and traffic investigation, that a prima
23 facie speed limit of forty-five miles per hour shall be
24 established upon the following streets or portions thereof in the
25 City:
26 Base Line Street: between a point three hundred sixty
27 feet westerly of Pennsylvania Avenue and Muscott Street.
28 Devils Canyon Road: between the north line of Devils

point three hundred feet south of Central Avenue and Rialto

SECTION 5. Section 10.52.050 of the San Bernardino Municipal
Code is amended to read:
"10.52.050 Fifty miles an hour.
In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections
22357, 22358, 22360, and 22413 of the California Vehicle Code, the
Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the
basis of an engineering and traffic investigation, that a prima
facie speed limit of fifty miles per hour shall be established

Fifth Street: between Victoria Avenue and a point one
hundred seventy-seven feet east of Lankershim Avenue.
Waterman Avenue: between Barton Road and a point three
hundred feet south of Central Avenue."
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at an adjourned regular
meeting thereof, held on
