2 ORDItlANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
10.52.040 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE; AND AUTHORIZING
3 A FORTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ON CENTRAL AVENUE BETWEEN
ARROWHEAD AVENUE AND A POINT 100 FEET MORE OR LESS EAST OF VALLEY

5 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 10.52.040 of the San Bernardino Municip 1
8 Code is amended to read:

"10.52.040 Forty-five miles an hour.
10 In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of sectionf
11 22357, 22358, 22360, and 22413 of the California Vehicle Code, the
12 Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the
13 basis of an engineering and traffic investigation, that a prima
14 facie speed limit of forty-five miles per hour shall be
15 established upon the following streets or portions thereof in the
16 City:

Base Line Street: between a point three hundred sixty
18
feet westerly of Pennsylvania Avenue and Muscott Street.
19
Central Avenue: between Arrowhead Avenue and a point
20 one hundred feet, more or less, east of Valley View Avenue.
Devils Canyon Road: between the nort.h line of Devils
21
22 Canyon Park and a point two thousand feet southerly.
Fortieth Street: between Mountain Avenue and Acre Lane.

Fourth Street: between Tia Juana Street and Mt. Vernon

Avenue.

Little Mountain Drive: between Twenty-seventh Street

and Marshall Boulevard.

Mill Street: between a point approximately one thousand

four hundred fifty feet westerly of Tippecanoe Avenue and
Tippecanoe Avenue.
Ninth Street: between Waterman Avenue and a point
approximately six hundred feet easterly of Preston Street.
Rialto Avenue: between Eucalyptus Avenue and Muscott
Street.
Valencia Avenue: between Thirtieth Street and Fortieth
Street.
Waterman Avenue:
from a point approximately six hundred
sixty feet south of Mill Street to a point approximately two
thousand one hundred feet north of Mill Street; between a point
three hundred feet south of Central Avenue and Rialto Avenue."
